Through our walking we are gifted opportunity to transform. The edges of pathways gently invite us to spaces of new wisdom, understanding and clarity about all things including change itself and her promise of eternal tides.
I wove this photo together from photos I took as my partner Paul and I walked through the forest earlier this week. A significant period of time in that his mother had died suddenly, and yet we were still unaware of her passing as we walked over pine needles and took in the smells of a Canadian fall. Those moments of peace just before our humaness and Heaven collide; when our earthbound ways don’t allow us walk the path of our loved ones and leave us reaching in desperation for Heaven as we fall to our knees.
